Wildlife.
It has been said that 140 species of birds can be found in the ‘Valley’, the striking kingfisher and elegant heron are just two.

Foxes, badgers, moles, field mice and shrews are just a few of the mammals that call the ‘Valley’ home.

The local frogs and newts have accepted the new wildlife pond, where on sunny summer days, dragonflies and damselflies give free demonstrations of their aerobatic skills.
So why not stroll along the many paths, enjoy the peace and tranquillity; escape the stress of life for a while and you will not even notice that you have exercised (of course some people jog)!   However, if you do get tired, there are 4 benches along the Womanscroft path for you to sit down and recover.
The children of the local Ladybrook Primary School let their imaginations go ‘wild’ when they designed one of the two unique carved oak benches found on this path.
